This is beautiful and terrible and heartbreaking and vivid, so vivid. I could see everything in the cell; the line of the seam of the Doctor's shirt, the scraped orange peel, the well where the \Time Lor\dragons live. And, like SJ, I read as slowly as I could make myself read, read sentences over two or three times to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and scrolled very very slowly.

What a powerful story, and how grateful I am that you're continuing it. (And selfishly grateful that I only discovered it three days ago!)

The cliffhanger, though ... that's worthy of Alistair.

Thank you! Fractured fairy tales are one of my favorite things, especially mixed with science fiction, so I'm glad people like my dragon/lizard/Time Lords. :)
