Jo is just so.. JO. But she's Josie and wants to put flower garlands all over the Doctor's lab and.. oh.. She's so earnest and sweet.

Doctor back story for this universe! Oh, poor man. Still remembers the good times..

Oh, Jo/Josie. I feel like she's terribly earnest in any universe. If I ever try to write her as a villain (Lord, that'd be a challenge) she will probably very earnestly explain to people why she's killing them. ;)

There will be a different piece of Doctor backstory in the next Two Birds update, though Three does his best to drown it in metaphor.

Thank you! Hee hee, they are so very shippable. I have many AU of AU of AU head-fics where they do get together, though of course in the actual space between this fic and Two Birds in a Cage they wouldn't--Three would be too worried about taking advantage of her, and after finding out he's an alien, Josie would assume he wasn't interested. And so they would both bury their secret feelings deep inside and pretend that they didn't have them at all. :)
