This made me ache for all the right reasons. So beautifully thought out and expressed. Hotch's situation cried out for this kind of depth - it won't be played on the screen, I don't think (well, definitely not the H/R stuff) but the layers. That would take several Hotch episodes with no crime to solve. So thank you for doing it for them. Truly heartbreaking.

Thank you, my dear. I'm thrilled you like this. I know we won't see this onscreen, but I too think that Hotch would have a lot of regrets about what he has to do, even if he knows its right. It's going to impact the whole team (and I'd love to see them take on Jack waiting for Haley, but I really don't think they will -- of course, I'd love to see them do H/R stuff too... but I'll just have to do that myself, won't I?)
