ok I can see how there would be a draw to most of the places on your list! but cuba? Any particular reason? :)

I've traveled a good portion of Europe. It's really neat to experience the history of places. I didn't get much into the cultures of places, since I was never in one place for very long. :)

If you don't mind non-luxury accomodations, there are plenty of ways to travel very cheap! :)

A number of friends have gone to Cuba and have loved it... beautiful tropical beaches, hot springs etc, and not spoiled by hundreds or thousands of american tourists :)

sounds good to me! I guess all of what we hear about in the news isn't a complete representation of the entire country! :)

oh and bah on your american tourists.. Yes, yes, I know there are tons of us everywhere.. but when I traveled there were just as many canadians with thier little flags on their backpacks :) It was crazy! :)
