Congregation's Book Club
Yes, Kyuu actually reads.
By the time I was in my last Catechism class, announcements from sermon about a book club enticed me - for the subject of study was on Conversion. Plus, I enjoyed Catechism so much such that - I wanted further study. Given my path this year, that topic was most indeed relevant. By this point, already had two group sessions with the book club members. Reading the book, I actually take notes in my notebook as I read; so not only do I read the book - I read it thoroughly. To date, I have not done a study in depth of that sort for any other subject - with the exception of refreshing Calculus (which I've put on hold for a few weeks now). Usually, I've taken my studies and subjects lackadaisically. Not this subject though.
It's amazing the things I can do if I believe in something. Later on, I'll summarize the things I learned from this reading.
For continued study, I may very well join the Bible study sessions later this year.
