i loved everything. including the lack of vanessa and nate. whose names i had to think about for a minute there.

this entire episode was epic. there were so many popcult fashion references, thank you xoxogossipgirl.

(Did they get the day right, btw? I know Jenny made mention of it being a Saturday at some point, AND I WANT TO HOPE that if they made such a big deal about it "being at the same time as Marc Jacobs" I WANT THIS SHOW TO HAVE GONE DOWN ON A MONDAY, AS SCHEDULED. Just, you know, to prove that all is perfect in the world.)

(NO. marc jacobs was on the monday. mbmj was on the tuesday. in summary: no. when they made a point of the day i was all 'asdkjdhfskdj wrong.' if they had said sunday i could have given them credit for maybe just not checking this year's schedule, since mj has always been on the last day. this just makes me think they don't care. boo.)
