That promo shot just feels like a series finale for RTD -- all "his" characters together again for one last hurrah. :(

THAT IS SARAH JANE SMITH! She was one of the Doctor's old companions back in the 70s, who came back last series. I can't really tell you a lot, not knowing anything about old Who, except that she has a robot dog named K-9 and is kind of smart and awesome.
