i'm amazed... i can't even start to tell you how much I loved this...
i'm usually a sucker for Earth fics... but this was just beautiful... the way you described Elizabeth in the tent in Egypt.. how she adjusts to that life, even though you can feel is not happy... and John's voice is... alive, the subtext in every exchange they have is just inspiring, in all senses...

do you know you could expand this story into thousands directions? do you know I am basically begging for more?

anyhow I really loved it... beautiful Elizabeth in here!
