HAPPY CAPSLOCK DAY OR SOMETHING

Oct 23, 2006 16:24

As I informed permissionslip earlier via text messaging skillz, I took Ancient Greece into a back alley today and raped it. Twice. IT WAS AWESOME. For all my whining and moaning and depressive/panic-y shaking at 3AM, I was beyond prepared for both exams. Even the language one! I conjugate like a fiend. (There was a lovely interlude of Hemingway and A Moveable ( Read more... )

You should! Torchwood should keep you on this high until you're legal!

WHOO HOOO, "Card me motherfuckers, that's right. Oh, you want ID? I got your ID right here!"

Er, or maybe that was just me.

Oh, that is SO going to be me!! Not just because I'm, like, the last one to get legal (curse you, overly-effective preschool!!), but because I once got carded at THE MOVIE THEATER. And this... was last Christmas.

Great, now ancient Greece is going to swear out a warrant for your arrest, and then Mariska Hargitay is going to knock on your door and you're going to have to hire Ben Stone to represent you, and this will only end in tears... ;p

(But seriously: glad the exam went well. ;)

No way! Because what I DIDN'T mention is that I stole the TARDIS first to go back in time, so the statute of limitations has cleared expired since 800 BC, give or take a couple hundred years.

Well, now look what you'vd done: since Mariska Hargitay can't arrest you, she's just going to get all angsty about it, and win a bunch more Emmys. :p

(Just watch out that the Doctor doesn't swear out a warrant for Grand Theft TARDIS. Not like it'd be awful if he was the one to catch you ;)

I nitpicked the commercial, too, but I was smart enough not to talk about it on the Internets where people might see me. Every time it's on, I say, "It's the wrong. fucking. music."

But then, I never claimed that I socialized with actual people. *stares at AIM*

ACTUALLY, the end of that link addresses the music -- apparently it wrong, and that the NextGen theme was originally composed for The Motion Picture. Having not seen the Motion Picture since, like, I was eight, I can neither confirm nor deny.

But yeah, irregardless, I think the same thing, ALTHOUGH I NEVER SAY SO OUT LOUD.

Hmm. I haven't seen TMP in a long long time, either, but I've seen Final Frontier recently, and I'm trying to remember if that music was in it. I'll trust the person who says it was. But, yeah, that music will forever be the TNG theme to me. I was watching TNG and TOS before I could read, and the music was how I told them apart. (Which makes me seem really stupid, considering you'd think I could just tell from the voiceovers, but...) For some reason, my grandmother and I always tuned in in time for the credits but not the teaser.
