I'm weird.

In between compiling productivity reports and photocopying training manuals, I'm attempting to teach myself the Greek alphabet.

eta: Kind of creepy? I have an easier time understanding this French website than most of the English ones I've been surfing onto.

Your post just sent me hurling into a flashback of pledging my sorority. Now I have the song we used to memorize the alphabet stuck in my head. The good news is that even though it's been 12 years, I can still recite the Greek alphabet in under 30 seconds.

Sorry for the random. Good luck!

I can imagine that parts like zeta-eta-theta (MY FAVORITE) would lend itself quite well to song. Sadly I have to eventually UNDERSTAND it, so I can't just memorize.

It's totally weird when I'm trying to sound out words like kouros and my co-worked walks in.

Good luck with the Greek. I had to learn the Greek alphabet when I took a course on the Coptic language. I hope that that will then give me the upper hand when I (finally) start my greek next semester. I FEEL YOUR PAIN!
