And the thing is, they were totally telegraphing the "Jim goes home with Jan" thing (I thought), so this was (obviously)...even better.

"So, the hero gets the girl. Who saw that coming? I did." Heh. The writing on this show rocks. ;p

I KNOW!!! I spent that middle scene between Jim's confession and their MAKING OUT (OMG) fearing SO BAD that Jan was going to run into Jim and they were both going to just wallow in their mutual pains by going home together and thus RIPPING OUT MY SOUL. Like, seriously, I think that one line is about the only thing I recall from it because my brain was still "ASDGASHDAJSFGLAFA HE SAID HE LOVED HER."

SUCH. AWESOME. WRITING. Seriously. It referenced so many of its past episodes AND was internally referential. !!!!!!!!

Heeeeeeeeee. And he didn't just say he loved her, but that he was in love with her. And he cried! Seriously!?! :)
