re: Starbucks.

That's what 'bucks is supposed to be like. It's what we should strive to be and at least in our area it's what we actually like to do. The better you are to the customer, the better they are to you and the better the work environment AND the relaxing experience.

It probably also means that you don't suck because even if we do know the names of the sucky ones, we tend to leave them alone and let them do their thing because it ends up being better than trying to get to know them and them getting pissed off at you.

As much flack as we get, we aren't all evil. *g*

Yeah, plus, I'm always that girl who orders the exact same thing every time yet NEVER has appropriate change, so I end up paying for my $4.07 venti vanilla latte with a $20 bill. But it still cosrt of surprises me because they're always so busy! How do you remember!

(Not evil at all!!!! I sold my soul to Starbucks a long, long time ago and thus love you forever.)

It doesn't hurt that they're usually quite busy (train station + college campus + lots of office buildings), always ask for names when you order, and I... have a slightly unusual name.

Ah, that's the reason I never saw it. Stopped really paying attention after The Great One left. :/

(So she's a Wells creation? Meh. Is it wrong to just want Sorkin people back? :p )
