Good analysis. I totally agree with your interpretation.

Keep those rants coming :P

For what it's worth: in twenty-four hours, Adama goes from asking Roslin to dance to... putting her in jail. THAT'S SO AMAZING, YOU GUYS.

I KNOW! Isn't that crazy?! They both shift gears so fast...
The Dance- it was a nice moment while it lasted though. ;D

Not to mention... what other options did he have available to him, honestly?
I agree with what you've said. Lee's actions sideline me a little because he's obviosuly supposed to have some nobility to him and 'standing his ground' or whatever was supposed to be his way of showing he had some guts. Except - except I think he totally misunderstood what his father was trying to do and as a result his actions come across a bit stupid. Yes, you shouldn't arrest the President because she disagrees with you but as you clearly pointed out, Roslin negated the contract.

The fact that she has been arrested leads to other interesting questions, like, how many people know? And what happens when the fleet finds out? How many people are going to side with the her and how many with the Galatica's command decisions? We already know that Zarek's going to be a pain in the hind. And how much is that contract worth in public?

The only thing that could make the Roslim/Adama dynamic more delicious is political theory, so thanks for this :)

Also, OMGs*RELIGIOUSOPRRESION!!!!11eleventy made me laugh for about 10 minutes, and I'm considering incorporating it into my formal note-taking.
