DOES BONES REALLY COME BACK THIS WEEK? My roommate and I have been expectantly awaiting its return, haha. Without consulting TV Guide, clearly. And based on those pictures alone I feel bad that I have yet to finish watching season two of Ashes to Ashes.
But, um, HI. This is our first LJ interaction? Tumblr is no longer an island.
BONES REALLY COMES BACK THIS WEEK. Our long national nightmare is finally over! And aajskhfkasjfhkashfa Ashes to Ashes. See, this is the thing about British TV, I feel like. It goes away for straight up NINE MONTHS, so prior to then you basically get used to it not being around, and then suddenly it's two weeks away from coming back and it's zero-to-150 in five seconds EXCITEMENT. Finish Series 2! I predict that circa mid-May the finale is going to be craaaaaaaaaaazy.
HALLELUJAH. We binge-watch the TNT reruns around here and somewhere along the way my roommate became really rabid and hilarious about the show. I mean, it's to the point where we have long conversations about Booth and Brennan's ~love over dinner. And Ashes to Ashes! I loved Series One, and IDK, life or something intervened and I kept forgetting to keep up, haha. That might be my assignment when I have some down time.
CLEARLY. Friday night, I got my wine and a property law textbook. When I became this person, I do not know.
EVERY TIME SOMEONE REMINDS ME THAT BONES IS COMING BACK I FEEL LIKE THEY'RE TRYING TO TRICK ME OR SOMETHING. How have we survived this hiatus???! I love how all the promos are like "Bones! 8 weeks in a row!" because god, what's the most we've had without a hiatus? Like, 5 weeks? EVIL FOX AND IT'S TIMETABLING. (I ... really don't understand how it all works to be honest.)
Plus you're forgetting that last year we were horribly spoiled, that between the residuals from the writers strike + Canada + Obama making inconveniently timed speeches, there were literally three weeks in the spring when Bones was on TWO TIMES A WEEK. I am QUITE excited for this hiatus to be over.
YOU HADN'T SEEN THESE? OH GOSH, IF I HAD KNOWN I WOULD HAVE HOOKED YOU UP BECAUSE I SAW THEM DAAAAAAAAAAAAYS AGO AND ASDFGHJKLLKJHVCXS LOOK AT THEM!!!!!
...*sigh* OF COURSE I SAW THEM ALL AND REBLOG ACCORDINGLY ON TUMBLR DAYS AGO, LADY. But today there was the new "JOIN THE HUNT" ones, and yeah. I feel like there is a bigger argument, wherein my ashes to ashes tag on Tumblr has been THOROUGHLY ABUSED in the last few days. Keep up!
