Ladies and gentlemen, now that I have a functional, working Region 2* Macbook, I can finally share with you the greatest bit of the Ashes to Ashes S1 DVDs. For, you see, when you select the "Extras" option, this is what appears:

*Basically, if you can 'get' a Mac-compatible version of AnyDVD, do so. It basically disables the "you can only switch back and forth between regions X times!" counter thingie, so you can switch back and forth at will.

Mine came on Wednesday! It was a hilarious transcontinental race between them and Mad Men, which shipped on the same day, and lo they both arrived at the same time.

Bah. Didn't they just come out on Tuesday, too? Dayum. I ordered them Tues. so hopefully they'll be here shortly, unless someone in my office has failed in actually giving me the package. Trials and tribulations of an office with no front desk receptionist. o_0

Uh, basically, hacking to region free is dangerous and scary and even I never went there. It involves too much messing with underlying systems for me.
