Ugh. I TRIED SO HARD, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I actually had to sit myself down (metaphorically) before I watched 1x01 and explain that, no, we will not make something out of nothing in the lawyers, and everything will be fine, Lee Adama YAY!
UM. NOT SO MUCH.
I think it's probably a good thing I don't work in a sensitive area, something like nuclear secrets or prototype technologic development (that's a thing, right?). I COULD BE BRIBED SO EASILY.

What am I talking to? This is a matter of denying certain truths to myself, is what.

(That probably says as much about the fandom as the fact that they are always in completely un-iconable scenes together. FOR INSTANCE, the part when he tells her that her legs are very nice IS SO BORING IN A VISUAL SCENE. Oh Mike and Connie. PUT ON FORMAL WEAR AND IMPRESS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.)
