Ugh. I TRIED SO HARD, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I actually had to sit myself down (metaphorically) before I watched 1x01 and explain that, no, we will not make something out of nothing in the lawyers, and everything will be fine, Lee Adama YAY!

UM. NOT SO MUCH.

I think it's probably a good thing I don't work in a sensitive area, something like nuclear secrets or prototype technologic development (that's a thing, right?). I COULD BE BRIBED SO EASILY.

(I also find it ironic that I have only Jack/Claire icons, and that these somehow act as metaphors for American and now British lawyers. I SHOULD PROBABLY GET ON THAT.)

All I know is that Devlin is 100% aware of EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING DOWN between the two of them, and, frankly, seems utterly amused by it.

YES. That was one of the many things that has pushed me over the edge into full-blown shipping mode. I almost feel obligated to go back and re-watch what's already aired, now that I HAVE BEEN CORRECTED.
