PERHAPS BENRY IS IN FACT AN ANGEL? too soon? ...too soon

I DON'T THINK BEN IS DEAD. A) HE'S BADASS, AND FANS WOULD SEND POOP TO ABC; B) OKAY SO LIKE MAYBE BABY BEN IS DEAD BUT ADULT BEN IS MOST LIKELY SAFE. UPSIDE: AT LEAST NOW WE'VE ELIMINATED THE PARADOX OF BEN MEETING HIMSELF? (BECAUSE, LIKE, HAVING YOUR CHILDHOOD SELF DIE WHILE THE ADULT VERSION IS TOTALLY NOT A PARADOX AT ALL.)

I SYMPATHIZE: I NEED A CAPSLOCK BIG FONT SHOW REALLY BAD, AND LOST WILL HAVE TO DO.

I thought that was awesome...clearly, the island wants no part of Ben -- it messed up time when he tried to turn the wheel. And then wasn't he supposed to go into exile and never return??

I actually think this was meant to punish Ben for trying to come back to the island along with the Oceanic 6. The island's like "Uh...I didn't say YOU could come back." :/

But that lot, I'd say all those random other passengers that crashed with Sayid and Sun's parties are doomed as well. (I did find it sort of lol and great that in the end, Sayid still managed to get snagged by a retro piece of Season 1 fate, re: the bounty hunter. Like when you think about all the other characters that have had their lives manipulated by Ben and Jacob and ~the plot~ to get them all back to the island, and Sayid's reasons for getting there are just plain, ordinary coincidence - he killed a dude, and people are pissed about that. There's no grand plan, no great island conspiracy.)

So everything bad that's ever happened on the island was the island trying to get rid of Ben? Ben will be happy, you know, because that means it's still ALL ABOUT HIM.
