That's a very striking first line, and I like the way you follow it through with clouds/sky/space as a symbol of breaking free and trying something new.

(Also, your icon totally cracked me up!)

Lovely piece. I especially like the last line, using 'black' as positive color - alive with possibility gray doesn't hold.

A lovely glimpse at post-Serenity Raven! I love the thought of her being able to heal, somewhat, after everything.
