Hahahahaha!!! I'd love to be at that dinner party, but I'd probably laugh and Lady C would throw daggers at me with her eyes.

Thank you so much! I made a ton of cuts and changes while I was writing this, but the last sentence was one of the few things that survived (with just a few tiny revisions) all the way through. :-)
