Is there any way to wave the only two posts a day rule? Maybe make it three? I really wanted to be able to post one fic for every challenge, but time got away from me. okay i was in mexico for a week

We're actually going to give people some extra days to get caught up. Details will be up in the next few days, but I'm pretty sure it'll be enough for you to get your fics up. :)

I apologize if this has already been asked and answered -- but what happens when this drabblethon is done? Does a new one start?

A new one won't start immediately, and we haven't set dates for the next event, yet, but we will be making some decisions pretty soon and letting everyone know as soon as we can. :)
