This is great, I love the repetition of the name, like the queen is reminding herself and lamenting at the same time. I also like that you never said what the queen's real idea for a name was.

The last line is great, at first it seems optimistic but then you realize it's totally tragic.

You can write well in every voice you attempt. Just be a writer already! You're awesome at it.
