so i'm going to recap. i've been tame (sic. BORING) this week, but it's ok, because i was pretty productive
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
-made delicious homemade chili featuring portabello mushrooms and perfectly cooked corn among other things accompanied by fantastic smoked cheddar and fresh cornbread

I have been watching "The Wire" on DVD and it is an awesome show. It is a show about the drug culture in Baltimore and is told from the dual perspective of the cops and the street people. ALl are fully fleshed out, authentic characters. Its done by the same guy that did "Homicide: Life on the Streets" and the miniseries "The Corner." The best part s, though, that is airs on HBO, so there ar eno punched pulled.
I never thought I'd see another show as good as Six Feet Under or The Sopranos. But The Wire makes me think twice.
