Taika Waititi !!! I loved him in What We Do In the Shadows. His character was so sweet and so in love with his lady. He and his love were eternal. Now I have some more movies of his to watch.

I saw Moana this weekend and enjoyed Jermaine Clement's Crab. I kept thinking that I knew his voice. It was a fun good trash movie.

I binged Search Party and enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of Broad City, another favorite of mine. Only it was not as sentimental as BC. It had a nice acerbic attitude toward its Millenials. It is "Millennial" isn't it? All these generations and their names, lets go back to just labeling them with numbers.

COMEDY / VARIETY (INCLUDING TALK) - SERIES
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
Late Night with Seth Meyers
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Where the hell is Samantha Bee's Full Frontal in this lineup?

She is better than Trevor Noah any night.

I'll give Goliath a go on your recommendation ( ... )

I'm in the mood for some good, trash movies. I'll give it a go.

It really did in such a bald-faced way. Unlike CBS' "The Great Indoors" which mocks and belittles them I just think "Search Party" takes the tact that "this is them. This is how this generation is, like it or not."

It's astonishing because she is miles and away better than all of them, ESPECIALLY Trevor Noah. He's terrible. I don't see how he still has that chair.

Go Armie!

I'm glad that Armie, while technically in the 1% ( I don't care how much he says his parents didn't support him when he went into acting, I'm sure he still has an inheritance) I'm glad he doesn't share the political beliefs as many of the 1%

I don't see "Loving" in there -- or maybe I missed it?

Oh, I went back and see that it got acting noms for the two leads. Well earned.

Excited for "Hidden Figures" - from the trailer, the costumer put the ladies in gorgeous dresses, which I am coveting.

Did you read Billy Bob Thornton's bonkers interview with GQ? Highly recommended.

That's nice to see Armie's not a Repug - he has that "young repug" look to him, but am happy that isn't at all the case!
