Nerd Prom 2014..What I'm Listening To...
The White House Correspondents Dinner aka Nerd Prom was last night. The event was hosted by Joel McHale. I didn’t watch any of the feeds or any vids from his opening or the skits but I was all about the fashion.

Should have guessed it's a Steinman song - very him. I loved the song he gave Bonnie Tyler "Faster than the speed of night."
My favourite Lana Del Rey song is "Ride." So glamourous.
If male entertainers were asked to do the same in the frequency that females are I would stop complaining about it.I remember when Gavin Rossdale did a sexy cover for Rolling Stone, there were loads of complaints from dudes about it ( ... )

I've always thought of that image coming from Details magazine. When Bush first made the scene they had a music issue and I brought the issue and ended up getting a subscription because of the feature on Bush and they had a shirtless pic of Gavin as well. But now that I'm thinking about it it was Rolling Stone and the Details issue just had a feature story on them.
Always admired Rachel McAdams for refusing to be naked on the cover of Vanity Fair. If you want to get naked, fine; but she didn't want to & didn't let herself to pressured.
I wish more female actors would stand their ground ( ... )
