I tasked myself to see "Lincoln", "Skyfall" and "The Man with the Iron Fists" this weekend. I more or less achieved my goal! #TeamNoLife!

Re: Larry King and Wife # Whatever---I thought that he got yet another divorce? Larry King is the Elizabeth Taylor of Marriages From the Male side.

Did you see the video of Lana Wachowski when she accepted her LBGT award for something or other? She has a nice wit; so I wouldn't be surprised if she made Mr. Reeves laugh.

The Wachowskis seem to make great messes of movies, although Speed Racer was pretty good.

It's the same wife he's been with for years now. They were going to divorce but they got back together fairly quickly. She still was able to keep that hunk of hers so that she can get everything when he croaks.

I did. I love Lana. She's like a wacky aunt. That voice is glorious.

Their visual eye is outstanding, but the rest of it? Even Rain in "Speed Racer" couldn't keep me entertained. Maybe that's why I didn't like it: Rain was only in a few scenes and I don't think he even spoke. Just hobbit Emil Hirsch and lemondrop head Christina Ricci.

She looks like a Las Vegas cocktail waitress who decided to throw on some coverup so ( ... )

I don't know if Joe looks like Robert Lincoln but doesn't he look like this Slavi woman
OMG! Yes! Which is no insult to the lady as he is a pretty man.

What did you think about Sally Field in Lincoln? Was reading she lobbied hard for the role but some of the Canadian critics have been less than enthused.

I believe Lauren Tom & Osric return to SPN this week! (You might enjoy the last 2 eps - lots of jealous boy drama. "YOU LEFT ME FOR A GIRL?" etc)

She wasn't the best. She lacked subtlety. There were at least two scenes were it was like she was doing dinner theatre acting. She just over does it. I think that's how she viewed Mary's madness but it was so out of place.

Then *I'll* be back!

I saw a bit of this past week's episode with Sam and Dean fighting and Sam more or less threatening that one day he will kill Benny and Dean giving him the look like "I'll like to see you try to kill my new boyfriend." Dean, just giving his heart to anyone!

I saw Skyfall yesterday and although it wasn't a stereotypical Bond film, I still liked it a lot. Great clothes, very 'saying farewell to the old' but did not expect that ending.
Did you hear about rumour of Idris Elba for the future Bond role? I would love to see him in that role and in a tailor made suit/dinner jacket.
BTW have you seen this video of Mumford&Sons? It's not my kind of music, but looking at Idris for about 6 minutes makes up for the music. He also directed it. Enjoy! ;)

That's what people have said: that it's not typical Bond. And I never thought of it, but they're right. It's like even though Craig has several Bond films under his belt, they're trying to build more on the man and get fans to know him and then go forward .

Sadly I was spoiled (damn, Twitter), but it was shocking nonetheless that they allowed Mendes to make that big of a move.

I have. I'd love it. I'd even love it if he played another former agent who goes against Bond, but unlike Silva he'll be stylish and sexy. Those suits....they're magic.
