Gale Harold, Gale Howard, Still Teh Sex However U Call Him

Jan 18, 2010 15:34

It’s been ten years since the debut of the U.S version of “Queer as Folk” and five years since it’s finale, but whenever Gale Harold has a project, it’s like someone throws out the Batsignal and instead of a image of a bat, there’s one of a slouching, 6’1 man with a cigarette between his fingers and the fans?

We come a’running )

encounters, queer as folk, gale harold

It was way over my head. Any thing post that album with "Legs" and "Give Me All Your Loving", I don't know about. I kept thinking, "Is Billy the one who plays Angela's dad on "Bones??".

Lost.

How I love it when you share your adventures with us! *happy sigh*

Gale Harold truly seems to have something that goes beyond charisma. Whenever I see him in anything, I can't take my eyes off of him. I responded strongly to his character in QAF because he perfectly portrayed the Irish bad boy I know so well from my extended family. You always forgive him, even though ho does unforgivable things, because behind his seemingly heartless actions is a hurt, lost, little boy whom you think you just might heal, if only you can love him enough. I thought his performance in that show was brilliant.

That Supernatural gif is one of my favorites. Jensen has moments of comic genius, much like Tom.

Oh, stop :)

You always forgive him, even though ho does unforgivable things, because behind his seemingly heartless actions is a hurt, lost, little boy whom you think you just might heal, if only you can love him enough.

That was Brian through and through. There's a Paul Simon lyric that goes "Some people never say the words 'I love you'/It's not their style to be so bold/Some people never say the words 'I love you'/But like a child they're longing to be told"

and that was Brian all the way to me. He pushed and pushed and could be such a bastard but in his way it was shwoing how he feels or protecting his own heart. Something about a bad boy with a vulnerable heart.

And Gale is the epitome of the massive crush any young girl has on the boy who walks to the beat of his own drum; he's artistic, he's well-read but not in an egghead way (nothing wrong with eggheads),but in a poetic/thinky way of reading poetry or Charles Bukowski way.

That Supernatural gif is one ( ... )

Yes from your mouth to god's ears - that he be my rock n roll husband - but really did he think he could banter with me about those groups??? Of course I could throw it back! What a hoot - I couldn't get over how excited he got when we got into the conversation - the most animated I've ever seen him and RELAXED I might add - so much fun. He's a doll - what can we say! The man has it in every way STILL.
Did I mention how wonderful that hug/kiss was???

It was great seeing you Dawnie as always and we'll talk Terri into that drive more times per year - just for a few laughs again.

Love ya baby,
xoxo

And no cocktail in sight, don't forget that ;)

The man has it in every way STILL.

STILL. It will never go away. He'll be fifty and still making people quiver.

Rub it in, chick, rub it in.

We're doing good, we got a visit in early this year, let's see how we fare the rest of the year.

It's always great catching up with my listsibs, we'll definitely do this again.

OMG! DR.SEXY!

Dr. Sexy will be adding his sexiness to Smallville, don'cha know. He's playing Oliver's mentor the Dark Archer in the upcoming "Disciple". Oliver + Clark + Dr. Sexy = too much sexiness on one show.

I loved Dean's love of Dr.Sexy and the not!Gray's Anatomy show.

I'm glad you finally got to see him in a play. Seems like forever since I saw him last...

As much as I know people didn't like Uncle Bob, I wish I had seen him in it.

How was his singing? He did play guitar, right?

He played guitar and sang. His singing was thready that night, but he can carry a note. It wasn't too warbly or that 'off'.

I'm more jealous about your get together with Crickett :p

I miss my listsibs! I'm glad for whatever get together we may all have.

Gale mentioned when we were talking that his voice was shot that day & really dry-he didn't sound bad but he also didn't belt out either - he was very relaxed with the guitar though - probably has been dabbling in it for years.

and we all know he dabbles at anything well! Yowsa!

Hey Dawnie - tell the listsibs about the hunka hunka next door at the sports bar! Oh yeah momma.

(i)and said he had to go, girlfriend was waiting(/i)

he actually said "girlfriend"? i think another fan who was there actually talked to yara, she (the fan) referred to gale as her (yara's) boyfriend and apparently she laughed it off; yara said they were just friends.

He said it, most definitely. She wasn't there and as a matter-of-fact when he said girlfriend, afterwards, Crickett remarked that she didn't know he had one and I wasn't sure if it was still Yara or someone new, but he said 'girlfriend'.
