people who abuse animals are sick minded and weak human beings who dare not act out against anyone or anything who can fight back, so quench their thirst for power and control against those who cannot ... which to me means they are a legitimate threat to society in need of genuine jail time of 10 years minimum for each offense as children are also likely within their chosen victim criteria and probable next victims

the fact that this degenerate is a member of law enforcement makes his crimes, and mental defects, even more dangerous to others

Honey, you were younger and less experienced. You didn't know the signs. You were, ultimately, strong enough and sharp enough to realize he was Bad News, and got rid of him before he caused any permanent harm. I'm sure your baby girl forgave you.

i know what you are saying is true. i still feel stupid for not realizing it sooner. chalk it off to first relationship learning curve.

i did learn though! a guy came to pick me up in college and my dog haaated him. terrified! again, she was shaky, her tail between her legs for no discernible reason i could tell. i never went out with him again. i figured she must know something i didn't.

another thing i learned... anyone who says they are just "dumb animals" is immediate on my List of Suspect Individuals.
