I just checked out this book from the library earlier today! It was recommended as a 'clean' read, though your descriptions has me thinking I will definitely need to vet it first.

Yeah...there is nothing outright graphic, but her best friend does catch gonorrhea giving a guy blowjob, which might keep it off of a lot of "clean lists". The main character is pretty squeaky clean...though by no means 100% innocent and without spark ;)
