I'm doing alright. Still in the middle of my divorce, and my husband emails me every once in a while to bug me. Really can't wait until it's all settled! Also looking for a job... nothing yet, but I'm going to start training using a certain program, so maybe it will lead to a job. I've got my fingers crossed!
My fingers are crossed for the both of us. Job hunting blows.
I'm doing alright. I take things one week at a time. But things are looking happier at the moment - what with Halloween, my birthday, Thanksgiving, a concert, and visiting my friend in Vancouver to look forward too. : )
*waves* Aw, no worries :) I've been so busy lately I still have lots of comments to catch up on myself.
I'm doing an internship for that company now, and it *may* lead to a job there at some point. Really hoping so! Got my fingers crossed for you too :)
Glad to hear it! I read about your Vancouver trip, I hope you have a great time! I've always wanted to visit Vancouver - one of my friends wanted to do the SPN Vancouver con a few years ago, but it was too expensive for both of us. Oh, well...
I'm in the process of applying for an internship that I also hope will help lead me to a job. I have also applied for a part-time job with the same goals in mind. At this point in the search, I'm hoping that getting my toe in the door will lead to the rest of me getting through the door as well.
Good luck with your own foot in the door!
Oh man, I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to my Vancouver trip!!! I'm hoping I might get the chance to stop by a SPN location or two. It would be really neat to have a picture of me standing somewhere that my fellow SPN fans would recognize. But mostly I'm looking forward to spending time with my friend.
I was just thinking about you, as a matter of fact. Because I'm going to be in Vancouver at the end of next month! If I were staying longer or if my friend (whom I'm visiting) hadn't already planned my whole stay (which is ok by me, as I'm fantastically excited to see him), I would see if I could come over and go to a cafe with you. Hopefully the next time. I'll wave in Nanaimo's direction when I'm there though.
I hope you're doing well too! I'm alright. Sometimes it really sucks that I'm not where I want to be in life at the moment, but most days I'm able to find something positive to be happy about.
I TOTALLY understand what you mean. I just want a full-time, paying job, and my own place but I'm stuck at home for the next six months (at least) while I do a fellowship that's basically unpaid and it's so frustrating!
I'm at home as well. While I'm grateful to my parents, it's not at all where I want to be at this age. All I can do is keep applying and keep my fingers crossed. Good luck on your end!
