Personally I'm really glad to see this video and this letter because impersonators need to go. Nobody wants people out there pretending to be them. I certainly would be really upset if somebody pretended to be me. But more importantly, there are unfortunately gullible naive hopefuls out there who take posers for their word.

I'm so glad the Js have put up this video. I can't really understand why impersonators would put themselves in such a position to get in such big legal trouble when all it would take is the real person saying "no, they're not me" for their cover to be blown. *rolls eyes*

Me too and me neither. It's just so stupid, and potentially harmful to pose as somebody else. Not to mention hurtful to the person you're pretending to be without permission!

I personally don't see why people are so angry with the bodyguard. It's his job to protect the guys and this is one way to protect them on the net. I think it's good of him. To me that just shows that he's taking his job serious. The impersonating is as much to protect the two of them as to the naive fans of the fandom.

Yeah, I was surprised by how (almost) hostile some of the people on my flist have been today about the presence of the bodyguard. I too think it's a good thing what he's doing on Twitter, for example.

Oh, and yes - from what I understand he is both of their bodyguard. I guess maybe they don't feel the need for more than one? Idk.

About time! I love how the boys care so much for their fans and get angry over the imposters as much as we do. And those lil shits bashing Daneel, and we wonder why the guys dont have a social networking sites, it would be CHAOS.
