Been a very odd week

This has been such a turbulent week, I can't believe that it was a whole 7 days ago that the radiator burst while we were driving on a country lane after Demelza's horseback riding lesson. We were towed into town and missed her bowling group and my choir practice. I also spilled juice on a library book while we were walking back from the Honda

Unfortunately, I had high hopes for the book, it's an author I usually like, but no, my least favorite of all of his...

I really felt foolish forgetting choir after promising I would go.

Oh, dear, you missed a parent teacher meeting!

I didn't add the other weird thing that happened this week. The hot water has gone out (the building manager is waiting for a part) so I had to go old school Tuesday night and boil water for a bath a la Little House on the Prairie. I am hoping to get a real shower today after the plumber fixes things.

Demelza and I are happy to report we had hot showers this evening. Bliss.
