You and all my friends bring me joy. Pictures and shared stories of our lives, as we go through our lives joined despite distance. We can rejoice in our shared accomplishments and console in our shared grief.
So very true. We may not be able to come together at the same table very often but at least we have lj to share our good times and bad with far flung friends.
First, let me say that I am happy to hear you are doing so well.
I guess, I learned to be more philosiphical about life and living during the last years of Mom's life. It taught me a lot about grace and appreciating each day.
It was shortly after her passing that I re-discovered fandom, and susequently met you and lots of wonderful friends. I'm grateful for this advances of tehnology that have allowed me to meet so many folks with whom I share the common bonds of fandom that I wouldn't have in years past.
Thank God that your scare was just a little scare, a scare nontheless, but lately I've been getting bad news about friends losing battles. (Lost two this week, including Hunter, and a friend was diagnosed w/stage 4 breast cancer two weeks ago and give her less than two months).
Demelza is growing up beautifully! She's getting past that awkward age, and is quite a lovely young lady now!
And Bravo to Momma for roping her into our craziness! LOL
Yes, it's been a bad week for news--at my church, too. Lots of funerals lately.
That picture of Demelza is five years old. ;-) She's much taller now. She's quite the fan girl, not into any groups yet, but she watches Big Bang Theory over and over.
Dear Dawn, I'm so glad you're ok now. <3 I'll pray for you, to be ok forever, right? :) Family and friends are the most important things that bring me joy, with health to enjoy all! The pictures are lovely, thanks for sharing! Kisses, Mari

Is that Starsky half-way up the staircase???
I'm so pleased you're okay, hon, and can understand how you feel after an experience like that. Big hugs.
