Last night was Pirate night--and I was amazed how many people had elaborate pirate costumes. The cruise line did provide pirate bandanas which we wore to the restaurant. Arrgh!

You know my cruise from hell had a lot more emergencies! LOL! And yeah, those tourist cities. Even in Alaska how many shops selling the exact same things can have enough business to operate? And 90 percent (or more) is crap imported from China. It took a lot of searching to find local artisan shops! Which is why I rarely buy stuff on trips unless it's special. Enjoy dinner!

No, I don't think I remember you telling me about the cruise to Alaska. What happened?

My cruise from hell was through the Panama Canal a few years back. I'll have to tell you about it when I see you!

Alaska was fine but it was like I'd never left Colorado. It looked pretty much the same other than ocean!
