[After a few minutes of watching Simon do whatever he's doing, Peony heads outside to make sure he's not planning to burn the house down or something.

[If anything it probably looks like he's trying to build an addition or something, though he's obviously not very good at it. He keeps hammering away for a bit before turning his head just enough to notice the blond head RIGHT THERE.

[Oh snap, ambushed twiceover by Anise's scary old man friends. This time Simon's actually moving around, so he turns and very nearly bumps into Jade.]

[Locke's got some plans of his own and some supplies to get for that, so he spots the kid trying to slink away. That in and of itself wouldn't have been unusual, but that doll - he knows that doll.]

[As tempting as it is to respond with some sort of snippy comment, Simon's too polite, so he just glances back and nods reluctantly.]

[Locke's being totally serious here, so he appreciates that. He's got his own bag full of stuff over his shoulder and looks pretty serious, especially for him.] I do, too.
