I love the way you use Karofsky's perspective in this story-- it's elegant and understated, which makes all the little details that much more enjoyable. You do a great job of showing his conflicting drives; he's a teenage guy who picks the wrong impulse often because he's simply busy panicking.

I literally *squealed* at the TV when Dave suggested a warm-up number, and I'm glad I'm not the only Kurtofsky fan who attributes the song choice to him as well. *grins* Please keep this up, I just love it!

And yeah, I think the idea of the song being Dave's suggestion implanted itself into my head as I watched the episode the first time. It wasn't until I was re-watching it to write this that I realized it wasn't actually stated in canon. But it's canon in my head, dammit.

Thanks! :) After the next track I will be diverging from the show, so at that point it becomes less research and more free writing. Hopefully that will enable me to update more often, heh.
