Yeah! 'Cause turtles, turtles have got shells, right? An' if you poke 'em, they curl up in their shells an' some of 'em bite you if you keep poking. So. So, Riku's a turtle an' he keeps going into his shell an' then I poke an' then he bites an' it hurts.

That's because when you poke, it's constant and annoying. Sometimes the best way to get the turtle out of the shell is subtly.
