In chapter thirty-eight, we return to Tirion to witness the happy (?) reunion between Nolofinwë and Findekano. I'm keeping this chapter at a general rating, although it does contain some sexuality, but nothing graphic.
I had thought that I would have to rewrite the next chapter; as it turns out, the next two chapters are written and safe in my

Sorry for my delay in replying....
I like to believe that my Maitimo has a good fashion sense. At least, I dress him exactly how I'd like to see him!
Well, maybe not exactly...or he'd be nekkid. ;)

I do have a recent text file in which I keep quotes I like..:
“I’ll say whatever I damn well want-”
“Macalaurë, please-”
“-at whatever volume I damn well want-”
“Macalaurë-”
“-to whomever I damn well want!”
I do think this comes from the previous chapter... why? I have no clue why I saved it, maybe because it was Maglor ;)
Anyway, I don't like this Nolofinwe... Fingolfin right? He really needs to get over that ridiculous jealousy. I mean he's even envious of his son.
So ok, not a usual review and I am behind, but I had to say it...

I'm a bit uncertain of my Nolofinwe (yes, Fingolfin ;^D) here. I might have to soften him a bit...I'm not sure. It's something that deserves some thought.
Take care and *hugs*! :)

Really it seemed like everyone was out to make him feel badly in this chapter, though. Findekano especially...but really, what did Nolofinwe expect sending his child to spend the summer with his least favorite relative? Children grow to love people faster then their parents might like.
(I'm tired and I had nothing useful to add to the comments above but I've been reading this story for sometime now and I thought that now was as good a time as any to start commenting on it)

Nolofinwe is hard for me to like as well, simply because I tend to see things from Feanor's PoV (and Feanor doesn't like Nolofinwe too much, as I'm sure you know.... :^P) I do have empathy for him, though: His father basically told him, "You're not my favorite and there's nothing you'll ever do to change it." I find it interesting that Feanaro starts at the top and falls, and Nolofinwe rises.
But I'm still a Feanatic and always will be. ;)
I hope that you enjoy the chapters to come!
