Tomorrow is Martin Luther King's birthday and a State holiday, so I'm not planning to be back completely online until Tuesday. Hopefully, I don't have too much work waiting for me there. Hopefully, the joint hasn't fallen down around our ears while I was gone! (Johnny the Boss kind of sucks at my job, so we'll see.)

Hey Dawn, since I'm not "technically" family, I could always sock 'im fer ya. And I'll throw in the post-beatdown trash talk for free!

Since "uncle Bob" isn't a blood relative, I have no problem being ignorant to him myself, but since I'm a pacifist and can't punch his pompous Buzz-Lightyear-looking grill like he deserves...go for it!

And I'm a bit fond of the new car too, myself.... ;)

I'm hoping for no untimely deaths in flames for Feanaro the Carro! Actually, my husband named him. Really. ;)

People say asinine things; don't let it get to you. Trust me, my extended family is no picnic either and I just kind of smile and nod whenever they talk. It makes for good laughs afterwards.

True, it does make for a good laugh! The good thing is that I really won't be seeing much of these people anymore, and the years I have had to put up with them have given me thick skin. It just amazes me how insensitive and stoopid people can be...and at a funeral, no less!

Ok, and OMG, I posted that last comment in haste because I get so annoyed when people try to tell other people how to run their lives. I didn't see that you named your car Feanaro. How awesome. Just keep it away from shiny things!

Good idea! :^D It was Bobby's idea to name it Feanaro, believe it or not (so far, no one believes it, but it really was his idea). I've always joked that if I were to become rich, I'd want a red convertible named Feanaro and a black hardtop named Nazgul. Now I just need to talk Bobby into custom tags for Feanaro! :^P

Oooh! I have a black convertible which I named Nazgul. Then I got in an accident the 2nd day I had it, so I changed the name (figuring Nazgul was bad karma or something) to Morsul.
