Happy Winter Solstice!

Dec 21, 2005 11:06

A happy Winter Solstice to everyone! I like the Winter Solstice: not only does it kick off the holiday season, but it means that the days have no choice but to get longer and brighter. No more mushroom feeling, going into work when the sun is rising and leaving after it has set. And it is finally officially winter, although it has felt like winter ( Read more... )

work, solstice, randomness

Yes, mum. ;) I'm actually more happy stressed than bored, which I probably why I play at Extreme Calendar Filling. I've always figured, though, for what I want to do with my life, that this is a good thing.

And actually, this is my week for peace, which is why I'm rushing around now to get everything done so that Friday through Monday, I can do absolutely nothing (and remind myself of why I dislike being bored!)

Then January...and Nelyo's...and busy will hopefully take on a whole new meaning! ;)

Eh. Don't worry about lack of AMC. I'm going to be spending Friday traveling anyway. Including a five-hour layover in Detroit. Bleh. So, while I will be able to amuse myself with War and Remembrance, AMC would have been rather out of my reach anyway.

Yeah, I figured it was as good a time as any to take off, with people traveling and off from work and getting ready for the big holiday weekend.

Have a safe flight! :)

You have got the most interesting life of anyone I know. I was imagining you drawing little miniature pictures of your coworkers' accidents and thinking, "No! She really didn't do that!" But whatever are we going to do without you on the 26th? Oh yeah - READ!

Lol! You're the only person to ever tell me that, would you believe? The closest I've come before was a girlfriend who once told me she was jealous of my "eccentricity." I suppose miniatures painting and sketching little departmental scenes falls into this realm too.

But whatever are we going to do without you on the 26th? Oh yeah - READ!

Oh, yes, there will be lots and lots of stories posted--or rather unlocked--on Christmas Eve. Proof, if any of you who know me still need it, that I am insane. ;^P

See? I knew that! That's really the reason that there will be no AMC on Friday. But, shhh...don't tell the others! ;)
