If it makes you feel any better, Tony Dungy is routinely voted the nicest coach in the NFL (as told to me by a friend of a friend who works in some local sports department).

Sounds like you had a fun weekend! I look forward to the pics.

He does seem rather nice...at least not as prone to amusing facial contortions like our own Brian Billick!

I'll try to get the film to the developer tomorrow, though the dog needs a bath (he reeks!) and the aquariums are in much need of attention...so I guess I'm really aiming for next week. :^P

Moss is so cool, isn't it? :D

Haha, I saw that Colts v. Ravens game at my grandparents' house--which isn't too far from Cleveland. I kept teasing my mom by saying, "I have a friend near Baltimore who cheers for the Ravens..." and she'd give me the dirtiest glares, hee!

I just hope that moss looks good on my macro setting.... ;)

And That Ravens Game...ah, it shall live forever as such. And pity The Stain...I used to despise them second after the Steelers, but they suck so badly now that I can't even muster up the energy for rivalry anymore. *evil grin*

We looked everywhere, under furniture with flashlights and in rooms where Alex hadn't even gone, but we couldn't find it. It was heartbreaking. It's his favorite toy, annoying as it may be. So our first act after getting home? (After unpacking and taking a much-needed shower, that is?) We bought him a new one.

Ah, the day has come! Dawn Felagund, tough, independent, no-nonsense Dawn Felagund, she has been completely pwned by a baby puppy! I now know the real reason you don't want to have kids: They would suck every bit of willpower out of your body, and you would be their slave for life.

Sounds like a generally entertaining weekend. I can't say that I care that much about the playoffs. I tend to be more of a baseball person. And, more's the pity, a Cubs fan. Come spring and summer, you can hear me whining all the way from Chicago.

Ah, but my purchasing a new football was also partly in self interest because it is one of the few toys that Alex reliably plays with by himself, allowing Bobby and me to go about our daily lives without having to spend an hour whipping the dog around the floor with a Booda bone. (And I don't even hear the shrieking anymore, unless it is waking me up at 5 a.m.)

As for baseball...well, I'm an Orioles fan. 'Nuff said. :) So I know all about crying, year after year. We're actually talking about getting a mini-plan this year for games, since both Bobby and I like going. But I'll always be a football girl at heart and then a hockey girl...I seem to like all the violent sports. :^/ It's also that O's games are much more affordable than Ravens games. We can see one football game a year or ten baseball games.

WTF indeed! Here, it is usually in the 30's-40s during the day and cold at night...and it's been in the '50s-'60s. And it rains constantly. We've also had a few inches of snow by now.

Maybe our regions got confoosed and switched climates. I can't complain about the lack of cold because I'm not fond of cold weather, but it does worry me in the global picture. :^/

Honestly, you need to come here!! Colorado has hiking of course, and we have a helluva lot of snow!!! ;)

You know, I was actually cheering for the Ravens. And then they sucked. I thought, "Wtf?!" Then, "Oops, I forgot I have bad luck, I should have rooted for the opposite team," thinking about how the Steelers sucked, and how the Cowboys lost, until I realized that I was in fact rooting against the Cowboys, and so my theory of "whoever Tarion is rooting for loses their playoff game (or doesn't make it at all)".

Actually, after watching the Ravens/Colts and the game after, my family decided that the entire NFL just plains sucked majorly.

I was I could turn around the Steelers terrible season into some Silmfic, but no, my muses suck. >:(

Bobby could take you up on the snow. I'd probably stay indoors. I am not big on cold weather!

As for the NFL...*shakes head* Okay, so that top two teams in the AFC are gone like that? How does that work? And we hold Peyton Manning to fifteen points on naught but field goals...and we lose?? The universe is seriously misaligned.

Eru is obviously a Patriots fan. :^P

But even snow looks prettier than mud from the indoors. ;)

Haha! Since Eru likes [the] Patriots, does that mean he roots against Feanor? 0:P

*sporfle*

I once tried to figure out which Valar "owned" which teams. I had Namo's Ravens, Aule's Steelers, Manwe's Falcons, and so on. :^D
