I'm at the parental home and can't go into lengthy detail, but I wanted you to know that I read it and enjoyed it. When I get back to school, I'll give it a more thorough read, and maybe another comment, if I remember to do that.

That's fine. :) I didn't expect to hear from you at all, as I know that you're home with your family. Enjoy your holiday; you've certainly earned it!

Sorry for taking so long to comment! Another beautiful chapter, with a very beautiful Maitimo. There are such tender moments in it, and I am convinced you are purposely teasing Alina and me with certain images--Maitimo curling up beside Findekano, and Feanaro hugging Maitimo and kissing his ear!

Not to mention Macalaure in a towel! I see Mac as really hott, in a dark, smoldering way, especially after writing my own fic about him.

The visitor was Rumil! Yay! I love Feanaro's fascination witn Rumil, contrasted with Maitimo's aversion. Maitimo is so obviously squicked by corruption, or is it deformity? How ironic when he will lose his hand in the future.

*sigh* I cannot believe this will soon be finished. I know I keep saying that. I'm so glad you decided to stretch it out to two more chapters, though.

Soon, an era will be over. You do realize, that, don't you?

No worries about taking time to comment! I am still bowled over that some readers manage to comment on nearly every single chapter. That is an honor I never expected! :)

There are such tender moments in it, and I am convinced you are purposely teasing Alina and me with certain images--Maitimo curling up beside Findekano, and Feanaro hugging Maitimo and kissing his ear!

The kissing-of-the-ear thing...I think I was teasing myself with that! *delightful shiver*

Since I wrote this for myself, I can't say that I was teasing you when I wrote it...but I certainly cackle and rub my hands together in what might be perceived as an evol manner while rereading these chapters. And I know that certain parts will push certain people's buttons, and I get a perverse joy out of hearing that my suspicions were correct. >;^))

Soon, an era will be over. You do realize, that, don't you?Yes. *sad sigh* I don't know that I'll ever have this sort of fun with a story again. I hope that I do, but the whole experience of writing and sharing this story has ( ... )

Wheehee, I finally found the time to leave a proper comment! (because I think this chapter deserves a little more than a meagre Great!).

My evening is filled with feeding the children supper, administering baths, combing snarled hair, saving a toy rabbit from being chewed to pieces or at least left sodden and tooth-marked (that was Carnistir), saving one of Atar’s books of legends from having the cover torn off (that was Carnistir and Tyelkormo), blotting a grape-juice stain from a set of good robes (that was Findekano, and I was only partially successful), tucking the children into bed, reading three separate bedtime stories, returning to escort Carnistir to the bathroom after he threatened to-if his bare feet had to touch the cold floor (because I had to remove his rug to be laundered after he tried to paint a design on it)- suffice to pee in his bed.

Whoa. Poor Nelyo. I'd go mad.

“I am so wearied by it,” Macalaurë confesses in a whisper. “Already! After only forty years. Must it be our fate forever?”Awww, angsty!teenage! ( ... )

And sorry it took me so long to reply to your proper comment. :^/

Whoa. Poor Nelyo. I'd go mad.

You and me both!

Now that's creepy: Nelyo hasn't really been himself in the last time, while Rúmil will disguise as Nelyo for the festival. I mean, I think it's really sweet that Feanor can't think of anything more beautiful than his son (awwww), but still... creepy. Somehow.

I intended for it to be creepy. *evil cackle*

Of course, we all know how near to Rumil's fate Nelyo's will be. Which makes it even creepier. :(

Feanor remains oblivious to how bothered his son is--not by Rumil--but by what happened to Rumil. He thinks of it as a compliment, and as you said, in a way, it is. But it also bothers Nelyo, and while he doubtlessly thinks it wrong that it does, I really can't blame him.

*huggles Nelyo*

Thank you for the "proper" comment! Although I love all of your comments. :)
