No, the Daily Drabble Hasn't Died!

Apr 06, 2006 10:55

I had all intentions of doing a four-drabble series on Monday and catching up from there, but alas, real life intervened. Between dealing with my car and an unexpected shower of warrants from the Warrant Gods and trying to finish my hubby's ghost story in time for his birthday, the drabble went the way of the dodo. Then yesterday's word was "cum." ( Read more... )

This after I noticed a typo in the earlier paragraph: "This day's drabble is Maedhros in Fingon." Just low blood sugar. Nothing nefarious. Really.

Well... apparently, the keyboard and your fingers know a little something-something about the friendly friendliness between these very friendly Elves.

Love the way you portrayed Fingon as a clumsy youngster. It makes him so sweet and endearing. Nefarious thoughts aside, I'm with everyone else when saying that I want Maitimo to hug him silly, grope him silly and bang his manly cousin silly, against a wall. In a friendly way, of course. (or the other way around, why not?)

Ooooh...an implication that Maedhros and Fingon are unfriendly sometimes too! ;)

I initially thought to have Maedhros be the hobbledehoy one, as I'd seen that in a story once and liked the idea. But it made better sense the other way around that Maedhros would remember more of Fingon's youth than vice versa...and it let me stay true to Felak!verse that Maedhros is very comfortable in his body.

I'll let you stew on that image a bit. Kinda like "mastering" Feanaro. Hehe. ;)

Damn you, Dawn Felagund, damn you! I must go and have a cold shower now... *mutter, mutter* Oh, BTW, in Alina!verse, Feanaro feels very comfortable in Maitimo's body, too. So there! You have a cold shower now!

Hehe. This reminds me of my Hamlet essay. After writing on it for hours without a break I came to describing the scene in Elsinore's chapel and that's what I wrote:

"Hamlet is nearing Claudius from behind with his sword drawn."

I looked at it. Blinked. Broke out in a fit of hysterical laughter. I fear that's what reading too much slash fiction does to you. ;)

This drabble is lovely. And here at last, I think the word "lovely" fits. :) *is now off to read AMC*

LMAO! Reeeeally? >;^))

See, I would totally take that the wrong way too. So maybe it is a side effect of too much slash!

Thank you! :)

Ye-hes. I actually tried to express it in a less suggestive way but failed utterly. ;)

No problem. In fact, I understand you very, very well. :-D
