I just had a pretty bad experience at Dental Arts and need to decide whether to go back to get the damage fixed or go elsewhere and spin the wheel of fortune.

I love Dr. Dobrin. When I recommend the practice to people, I always say specifically to only see him, as I've heard mixed things about the other doctors. I have had a *lot* of work done with Dr dobrin, and I have zero complaints. (Just finished a crown replacement last week...)

This is very helpful, thanks!

It was only around the end of the post that it really crystallized for me that maybe the practice sucks overall but one dentist there is good -- so it's really good to know that.

(I wonder if it's possible to request a specific hygienist or assistant too...)

I also recommend Dr. Dobrin. I have been seeing him for over 10 years now and have crowns and fillings done by him. Even when i have a slight issue, he is very professional and fixes whatever issue is. I am surrprised to hear about Dr. Ibrizi, she used to be a Hygenist at Dental Arts and she was my favorite. I know she just finished Dental school, so maybe she is just adjusting to her new role. Dr. Dobrin though, he is great.

I'd recommend going back and seeing Dr. Dobrin (not that I have any first had experience with him).

If you need another dentist, I would recommend Dr. Lapidus at Belmont Dental on Concord Ave just over the border from Fresh Pond.

I recommend Dr Francis Bane, on Mass Ave and Rindge. He is incredibly gentle & nice. I've never gone to his hygienist.
