A bit farther afield, but also happening on Saturday is the Boston Festival of Indie Games at MIT. We greatly enjoyed this event last year and are looking forward to going again.
The Somerville Dog Fest is Sunday from 10 to 3 at Trum Field. Tons of activities for your dog and you, including try-it rings and demos, contests, food trucks, vending, and more. Come by 1:00 and help break the world record for most dogs getting their teeth brushed. Proceeds benefit Somerville Foundation for Animals.

The Ryan Harrinington Foundation is holding their annual corn toss tournament this Saturday 12th at Trum Field starting at 9:30am.
It's not the weekend but I saw on Facebook that Somerville Overcoming Addiction is having their second annual vigil at Somerville high this coming Tuesday the 15th not 100% sure of the time but I believe it said 6:15.
I'm hoping to get to that dog festival. I love that they're looking to break a record!
I added the Ryan Harrington event, but not the Tuesday event (since it's after the weekend). Feel free to make your own post about the Tuesday event if you wish.
