Slate still available

Thanks tolyonesse and laryu for taking a ton of my slate, but there's still a bunch more, if anyone wants to take some (and by some I mean a carful or two - not an armful) it for a yard/garden project.

Failing that, does anyone know of a place that might just come by and fetch it? Even for a fee?

I also have a giant metal pole to get rid of, if anyone has had ( Read more... )

scavenge, free stuff, gardening

for the metal pole, if you put it out on the street the night before trash night, the scrappers will come and take it. no need to call anyone or anything, they just drive around looking for stuff.

I couldn't get there for a few days (I'm usually only in Somerville over the weekend), but if you still need to get rid of it by then, I could probably take a trunkful. But can I ask how big the pieces are? It was hard to tell the scale on the photo you posted with your prior entry, and that would definitely affect what I would do with them and how much I could use, so would be good to know before I arrived. Assuming of course that you don't get other takers before that.

There are some that are as large as 12"-15" by 12", but most are probably more in the 8"-12" by 6" size, given what folks have taken already.
