Below is an email I got about an upcoming show:
Maiden Phoenix Theatre Company is proud to present its summer production, William Shakespeare’s The Winters Tale, directed by Sarah Gazdowicz. The play is Shakespeare's genre transcending story of love, jealousy, loss and redemption. With some of the most extraordinary female characters and stories in Shakespeare's canon, this all female production examines a world where magical possibilities are ever present and tragedy, although irreversible, can still give way to new life and new joy.
The performances are produced as free outdoor events with the support of local Somerville businesses. The audience will be repositioned between acts.
The incredible cast includes Sarah Mass, Allison Gilman, April Singley, Leilani Ricardo, Caroline Markham, Kamela Dolinova, Mara Elisa Palma, Cassandra Meyer, Gail Shalan, and Juliet Bowler.
The brilliant design crew includes Julie Streeter (Production Manager), Elizabeth Ramirez (Stage Manager), Norma Heller (Costume Designer), Kat Nakaji (Set/Props Designer), Ben Leiberson (Lighting Designer/ME), Kiki Samko (Choreography), and Jeff Butcher (Sound/Musical Director).
