We are longtime members of a wonderful Jewish community--Temple B'nai Brith in Somerville--and wanted to let people know that this year Temple B'nai Brith is again offering free High Holiday Family Services for parents and their children--no tickets required. There will be singing, storytelling, and a shofar service led by our Rabbi, Eliana Jacobowitz, and our teen leaders.
Temple B'nai Brith is a warm, independent, egalitarian Jewish congregation serving Somerville and surrounding communities for over 100 years.
Our membership reflects the wide variety of choices people make in living Jewish lives. We welcome all who care about enriching Jewish life.
We offer regular Shabbat worship services, Tot Shabbats, High Holiday services, and other Jewish holiday services; non-members are welcome!
We'll be offering free to the public Family Holiday Services on RoshHashanah and Yom Kippur this year - a great way to get a taste of what we're all about.
In addition, TBB offers a Sunday Children's School beginning at grade Pre-K (our 15-year-old son is still involved with classes and as a teen leader), a teen youth group, a Ketantanim (tiny ones) group for kids ages 0-3 and their parents, social action programs, adult learning, community dinners, and cultural and film programs.
