Havurat Shalom's High Holiday services are free and open to the public. There are no tickets - all are welcome! See "read more" for details.

- Newcomers' Night: Friday September 9, 2011

6:30 p.m.

Come to all or any part of this evening designed to make davening (praying) at Havurat Shalom user-friendly. What are our services like? Do you have to buy tickets for the High Holidays? What are the demographics of our membership? Are the potluck meals kosher? Why does our liturgical Hebrew sound different? MANY mysteries of Havurat Shalom will be revealed in this evening led by genuine havurah members. Come meet members and learn about the inner workings of Havurat Shalom. Stay for services. Then join us for a vegetarian dinner after services. RSVP to registrar@thehav.org or 617-623-3376.

- Slichot: Saturday September 24, 2011

10:00 p.m

Join us for a short service where we recall some of our High Holiday nigunim (melodies) and liturgy and then write about our sins/regrets/misdeeds and put them in water to "wash them away."
