First anniversary.

We took our anniversary trip in August up to Boyne, where we took our unintentional 22-mile bike ride and had a room with a jacuzzi in the corner (thankfully). After we got back from our bike ride (was supposed to be 7 miles but we took a wrong turn), we drove to Buffalo Wild Wings in Petosky and stuffed our faces. After that is when we returned

Isn't the trail up there wonderful? Lucas and I went to Petoskey last year, and I hope we can go again next year! I have a new bike, and am in better shape... so I'll hopefully be able to ride more of the trail! I'd love to go the full distance, from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs. :)

It is awesome - we had great weather, too, so even though we went way out of our way, it was a balmy evening and therefore much more bearable than it would have been had it been cold, cloudy, or rainy. :)

I really love that area up there... I hadn't done much traveling to that side of the state up until I met my husband, but now I think about it all the time and look forward to the next time I get to go.

It's really nice to hear from you - I hope you're doing well. I don't update or check as frequently as I used to, but I do return often enough to get down a thought or two here and there. Take care and keep in touch!
