as a cyclist for five days now, i can say with all authority that toronto drivers/cabbies are the worst ever. its like they sit there thinking how to best fuck over the person on two wheels protected by nothing but their short sleeve tshirts. grrr ( Read more... )

just dont stay on the curb. when you come to intersections, take the whole right lane, so no one can pass you/cut you off. just take the lane as much as possible, usually its fine, aside from the odd aggro driver. bike gang.

yeah, the more comfortable i get, the more confident and deserving i feel about the space im taking up. should be good times for my legs, im looking forward to it.
